Our Story

The recurring theme in our walk with Jesus is freedom in the way we think, behave, and believe. Through our walk with God, he has shown us that everything we thought to be true, shaped by beliefs adapted by our family, the things we’ve read, the media we’ve consumed, and other people, was wrong.
As we started reading the Bible, we realized that were were deceived by the world to living their “truth” and their narrative for our life. These falsehoods led us to believe that we weren’t good enough, wasn't loved, and that the problem was with everyone else but ourselves. Upon reflection, we understood that what was truly harming us was our ignorance, not knowing God’s truth, and embracing false beliefs. We had been our own worst enemy, undermining ourselves with negative thoughts and incorrect beliefs.
It was when we encountered Jesus that everything changed. We learned that we matter, that we had a purpose, and that Jesus could liberate us from destructive patterns and mindsets. We learned that if we did not learn to renew our mind in Christ, we would continually be enslaved to the thoughts that were full of death, destruction and bondage.
There is only one truth that can set us free and that is God’s truth. The choice was ours to make. Which truth did we want to live in? Did we want to remain in bondage or be free? We chose freedom.
In Deuteronomy 30:19 it says, “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessing and curses.” God is asking you what you choose. What do you choose today? Do you want to remain living in lies or live in truth?
May you choose freedom today and every day of your life.
